## About

Escape the bustle of the Corso and find serenity in the Giardini della Villa Comunale, Taormina's beautiful public gardens! These enchanting gardens were created in the late 19th century by Lady Florence Trevelyan, a Scottish noblewoman who settled here. Her eccentric touch is evident in the charming Victorian follies and whimsical structures scattered among the lush, exotic Mediterranean flora. It's a tranquil oasis where you can wander among vibrant bougainvillea, fragrant jasmine, and ancient olive trees. Locals come here for a quiet escape, to read, or simply to enjoy the spectacular, unobstructed views of the Bay of Naxos and, of course, the ever-present Mount Etna. It's a truly delightful spot to relax and breathe in the beauty of Taormina.
